I didn’t realize how loud my life had become until the noise stopped.
For years, I prayed for peace like it was something far away — something I had to earn, something I had to chase, something I had to prove myself worthy of.
But peace didn’t come through striving.
It came through surrender.
It came when I stopped forcing what wasn’t meant for me.
It came when I stopped carrying what wasn’t mine.
It came when I stopped letting people write chapters in a story they were never committed to.
Peace arrived the moment I chose honesty over pretending, boundaries over burnout, and alignment over attachment.
And now that it’s here, I protect it differently.
I speak differently.
I move differently.
If you’re in a season where God is quieting your life, don’t panic.
He’s not removing — He’s refining.
He’s not punishing — He’s preparing.
He’s not taking — He’s making room.
Peace is not the absence of problems.
It’s the presence of clarity.
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.” — Isaiah 26:3
